Hungry Hearts Church is a group of Believers in Jesus Christ who want more of Him than of the religions of their past. We are people who are sick and tired of man-made church and want more of Jesus. Religion has gotten in the way of our relationship. And, we are in the process of rekindling that love affair with Jesus. We are hungry for more of Him. We are hungry for more of His Presence in our lives. We are God Chasers.

This has resulted in a hot pursuit of intimate worship. That is why we worship for an hour at the beginning of every service. It seems long to some, but it is way too short for others. We want Him. We want to shower Him with our love and adoration. We want to feel His love for us on an intimate and very personal basis. Jesus wants to be worshipped, and the worship of Jesus is what will satisfy our souls. It seems awkward at first, but the deep down rightness of worshipping God makes it feel good, once we get started.

Once we really begin to give the Lord our heart, we begin to feel His heart. He gave the rules for righteous living a very long time ago. They are in the first five books of the Bible. We call it the Torah. Torah is a Hebrew word that means “teaching.” It is God’s teaching on how to live right before Him. This is how He wants us to live. It is also how to bring happiness into our lives.

When we really get in touch with how He wants us to live, we realize that we fall a little short. We discover that our worship is a little inadequate. We need His Spirit living in us. ALL Believers have the Spirit of God, but there is more. Much more. There is a Baptism of the Holy Spirit that really changes things in your life. It helps you to have the strength to live right. It is the power to really worship Him with all of your heart, mind and strength. It is also the direct hot line to the Father in your time of need. Praying in the Spirit is how to build up your faith. It is how to reach intimate fellowship with Jesus. It is how to hear the voice of God.

The life of a Spirit Filled Believer is an adventure in God. Worshipping God in Spirit as well as in Truth is the fulfillment of a lifetime. Living right before Him is the pleasure of all time. And having that intimate contact with Jesus Christ your Savior is what life is all about. We pursue all of these things in Hungry Hearts Church. We pursue close contact with God through Jesus Christ. We live by His commandments and we walk by His Spirit. If you are sick of church and want more of God, then this is the place for you.
